I believe a person can be trustful, be honest, be strong, have intergrity and be respectful but in my opinion the root of a sorority is a true sisterhood. You create bonds, new friends, future bridesmaids or future godmothers. A sisterhood becomes your second family. Variety of women with different personalities and skills. They are women you can rely on for advice, rants, or simply someone to get food at 1am. A true sisterhood not only provides new friendships but provides women to grow together and learn from each other. This is why a true sisterhood is an important value to me.
Trust

Strength

This value is the most powerful to me. I used to think it was limited to muscle strength, but I learned it is also the strength of heart and mind. To be strong means you have will power, determination, ambition, persistence, the desire to succeed; it's the eye of the Pegasus (eye of the tiger) and it is because of my sisters that I am strong.

That is why I am an honorable and proud sister of Delta Alpha Sigma Multicultural Sorority, because integrity is one of the values that defines who we are, always and forever.
